    Questions - Hacked Wordpress Repair

How long does it take to restore a hacked website?

The clock starts when we have access to the web host. Urgent service is 24-36 hours, and normal service is 72 hours.

What do you do to restore a hacked website?
I backup the current hacked version of the website, load it onto an isolated computer to disinfect it. Then we load it onto a brand new hosting account, reset all passwords, and purchase premium security tools to block attacks and detect malicious code. We then continue to monitor the site for a month.
    Does it always work perfectly?
We can almost always disinfect a WordPress website. The issues arise when the site uses plugins that have been abandoned and have known security issues. In that case, we have to find alternatives to those plugins and safely remove them to prevent reinfection.
Will my site remain secure after it is fixed?
We use Wordfence Premium as part of our toolkit to fix hacked websites. This is a premium, yearly subscription that gives you ongoing protection after the fix. It prevents hackers from guessing passwords, and blocks any countries that you don't market to. Beachside also monitors your website for 30 days, checking and responding to security incidents. After that, stick to a schedule of updates, backups, security scans, and strong passwords to keep the site as secure as possible.
